Watch BBMak's 2018 acoustic performance of their worldwide hit "Back Here" -

Billboard Magazine names BBMAK's song "Back Here"
the 9th Greatest Boy Band Song Of All Time.  See here:
Mark Barry, Christian Burns and Stephen McNally -- BBMAK, derived from their combined surnames -- engineered one astonishingly effortless pop-rock single during their time in the spotlight as guitar-toting counter-programming to *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys. No, they didn’t have dance moves or Timberlake looks, but BBMak had loaded their fairly straightforward mash note with a pristine balance of catchiness, charisma and cathartic sing-along moments; to that last point, the landing of the “Until you’re BACK here baby” chorus opening is only rivaled by the bridge’s echoing falsetto (“And I wonderrrr (wonder, wonder)...”). “Pleasant” is a word that could describe “Back Here,” but that sells short how successful it is at being aw-shucks likable and worthy of return. Few pop songs in general hit their mark as cleanly as “Back Here,” and for that, this British trio and earned a place in boy band history. -- J. Lipshtuz

When we got back together last year, we never dreamed we would end up where we are today. We had such good times with BBMAK, from touring with *NSYNC to performing on The Tonight Show to being a part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and we thought  maybe that was enough. But when we got together again, the magic was still there, so much so that we started writing music again like not a moment had passed. The result is Powerstation, which is coming out in October and we literally can’t wait for you to hear it. We’ve been absolutely blown away by the love, support and excitement from everyone who has come to see us at our shows or written to us online to tell us how much it means to you that we’re together again.” Christian, Mark & Ste

To coincide with the release of Powerstation, the group has one of a kind, unique items up for grabs on their website ( Items on the store include the BBMAK Vintage Merch Bundle (1 vintage signed postcard, 2 vintage stickers, set of four pins, and three guitar picks), an acoustic video performance of each buyer’s chosen song, a short video message from the band and disposable cameras filled with images taken in the studio, on tour, or around town.

The multi-platinum selling English pop group has sold more than three million albums to date and had hit singles worldwide between 1999 and 2003, when they disbanded.

Best known for their self-penned infectious guitar driven hits “Back Here,” “Out of My Heart“ and “The Ghost of You and Me,” BBMAK was one of the few bands from that genre to play their own instruments. Billboard Magazine named “Back Here” the 9th Greatest Boy Band Song of All Time.

BBMAK Song Commentary

Bullet Train

This song is about a moment of realization. It's an uplifting track with big jangly acoustics that carry the chorus. A great first single to represent BBMAK's return, in our opinion!

o Far Away
This song is the second single from the album, it's a song about reflection and longing. We love the massive driving drums on this track, and this song harkens back to the kind of music that we released on our second album "Into Your Head".

No One Like You

No One Like You is an upbeat, positive song about the moment of instant attraction between two strangers. It has a pulsing production and anthemic chorus that gets you singing along.

Uncivil war

This song is a great epic love song and a heartfelt ballad. It's about reconciling with someone you love and having the courage to start all over again; putting the past behind and moving forward in a much more positive way. We love the string arrangement in this song as it takes the track to a whole new level.

You Don't See Me

You Don't See Me is an uptempo song about looking back on life and remembering the amazing journey you've had, with great guitar hooks and soaring vocals to pull you in.
We Can Be Lovers

This is a song about second chances. We love the slight country vibe to this one and it's catchy chorus that you won't be able to get out of your head.

This is a hopeful love song. We love the somber piano on the start of this track and the lush harmonies throughout the song. This track builds from a melancholy beginning into an epic ending!
Falling up

This song is all about making positive choices and making the right decisions as you remember that you only get one life. It has an uplifting vibe and sends out a positive message.

Out of Time

This track is a love song about a long lasting relationship that will stand the test of time, with emotional and heartfelt lyrics over a catchy acoustic guitar and drum loop production.

Lyrically, this track is about the journey that we've been on throughout the years, and about our optimism for the future that's laid out in front of us. This is a laidback, acoustic song that represents a true moment of calm on the album.
