Ken Phillips, who has over 25 years of PR experience has created and directed national publicity campaigns for artists such as Joan Jett, James Bay, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lindsey Stirling, Dave Navarro, Jonas Brothers, Cheap Trick, Taylor Momsen & The Pretty Reckless, Goo Goo Dolls, Sixpence None The Richer, Godsmack, Joni Mitchell, Hanson, Pentatonix, American Idol's David Cook, David Archuleta, James Durbin, Julia Michaels, Anthony Ramos, various RuPaul Drag Race winners and comedian/actress Margaret Cho among numerous others. 

The Ken Phillips Publicity Group, Inc., located in Los Angeles is a full service independent publicity firm focusing on national print & online press and TV campaigns. Additionally, targeting top placement in both regional and national tour press markets, etc.

Phillips, a former Warner Bros. Records Publicity executive, is the owner and operator of the firm.

Phillips began his career in the music industry as the manager of Grammy-award-winning songwriter Diane Warren's publishing company, Realsongs. Ken then joined Warner Bros. Records publicity team and was later promoted to West Coast Publicity Manager before forming his own PR firm in 1997.

Social Media Strategist Katy Krassner has worked for diverse and lively entertainment companies, all of which have provided her with an excitement for bringing out their best. With a focus on curating content, subject matter and best practices for social media channels, Katy has run Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest, Tumblr and Tencent pages for many entertainment brands including the band Duran Duran, interactive company Section 101, mobile gaming site Mocospace and Zedge Mobile to name a few.

Katy has a unique talent for creating a strategy that assures people are both engaged and entertained. She frequently participates in symposiums on digital media to make sure her skills remain current and fresh.

As part of Ken Phillips Group Publicity Group, Katy can look at your current social set up and make suggestions on improvement, providing tips and engagement strategies. She can work with a client as a consultant for a one time fee or discuss becoming the community manager for their social media needs.
