Return to The Pretty Reckless

Review: The Pretty Reckless back with rocking new video 'Oh My God' SPECIAL

By Markos Papadatos     Feb 22, 2017 in Music
Rock group The Pretty Reckless is back with their rocking new music video for their sophomore radio single "Oh My God," which is from their newest CD.
It is the follow-up to the album's chart-topping lead rock single "Take Me Down." The song "Oh My God" is more aggressive yet raw and authentic. Taylor Momsen nails the lead vocals, and delivers an electrifying performance. Kato Khandwala served as the producer.
"Oh my God, wish I was thin, wish I was a normal human being, I'm just like them, stuck in the dirt, I am a victim of my own self worth," Momsen sings in the opening verse, with her raspy vocals.
"Oh My God" is the second track featured on their latest album Who You Selling For, which was released on the record label Razor & Tie; moreover, all of the songs on there were co-written by front-woman Taylor Momsen and guitarist Ben Phillips.
Aside from Momsen on lead vocals and Phillips on guitar, The Pretty Reckless is made up of Mark Damon on bass and Jamie Perkins on drums.
The single "Oh My God" and album are available on iTunes.
The Verdict
