Yes, actually being able to sing may be de rigueur again...Exhibit A: a Capella outfit Pentatonix, whose debut EP jumped off at No. 14 on Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart, brings the quintet’s all-vocal interpretations of contemporary hits such as Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” along with a few original tunes to the House of Blues on Tuesday. The group, besides harmonizing, also emulates instruments with its voices, and beatboxing a little bit to provide percussive rhythms. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tuesday, the show starts at 8. Tickets range from $25 to $62.50. House of Blues is at 4640 U.S. 17 S., Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach. Call 272-3000 or visit www.houseofblues.com/myrtlebeach.
