@ Royal Oak Music Theatre 2/28/13
By Jacob Giampa
I did not know what to expect at a Pentatonix concert, but
I had heard great things about the Texan artists. The Royal Oak MusicÂ
Theater was packed full of all kinds of people, young and old.
This was my first time seeing an a capella group with such a big following!
Their opener was a cover of the Swedish House Mafia song “Save
The World,” accompanied by a beautiful light show of white and
blue accents. As the show progressed the singers came out one by one
to show off their unique set of skills. Kevin Olusola had an insane
mix of cello and beat boxing skills that the crowd ate up. I have
a feeling that we will be hearing more and more about Penatonix as
they continue to gain masses of fans in each city they tour in.
