CLARKSTON, MI - She's had quite a career since becoming the first American Idol in 2002. Kelly Clarkson brought her "Piece By Piece" tour to DTE Energy Music Theatre with some very special guests, including Grammy winners Pentatonix.

The crowd arrived early to this big show to get a good spot on the lawn, which was nearly full by the time the show started.

Abi Ann:
Up and coming country singer Abi Ann got things started. The 18-year old singer from Texas was named America's Favorite Teen Country Artist in 2012 by the Independent Music Network.

Ann has a strong voice and received a nice round of applause when her short set ended.

Eric Hutchinson:
Next up, a singer who has been around longer than many might think. 34-year old Eric Hutchinson is an accomplished songwriter and pianist. He has a powerful voice that kind of sounds like Jason Mraz.

Hutchinson obviously knows how to command the stage. His short set received a nice ovation from the DTE crowd.

A lot of people in the crowd could not wait to see the a cappella group Pentatonix. And, for good reason. The group has a eight million YouTube subscribers and counting with more than one billion cumulative views on the site. They showcased their talent for a national audience in 2011 by winning the third season of "The Sing-Off" on NBC.

The Grammy award winners nine song set included the first song they ever arranged together, back when they were in high school about five or six years ago called "Telephone."

The group will soon release a new album of mostly original songs. They treated the DTE crowd to one of those new songs from the upcoming album called "Can't Sleep Love."
