Return to Amanda Palmer

Amanda Palmer Tours Florida

Since releasing her solo debut Who Killed Amanda Palmer last fall - Ben Folds produced it, doncha know - the multitalented Amanda Palmer has been just a little busy.

Touring the world busy.

Shooting videos for every song on her album busy.

Prepping a collaborative photo-and-story book with my hero Neil Gaiman busy.

Even pissing off people who think nobody should ever talk about rape or abortion busy.

Yeah - she used her winter time much more productively than you did.

In addition to her forthcoming literary project - to which Gaiman contributed stories inspired by photographs of her by various artists - due in May, Palmer will be releasing a companion DVD of the videos shot for Who Killed ... in June.

In the meantime, though, the provocative chanteuse is bringing her outspoken live sets to Florida. She'll be at Common Grounds in Gainesville on Wednesday (March 25), St. Pete's State Theatre Thursday (March 26), and Fort Lauderdale's Culture Room Saturday (March 28). Vermillion Lies provides road support for those dates.
