LIT SPOTLIGHT INFLUENCES ON "RIGHT" CLIP

Lit has been responsible for several memorable videos over the years, and even though their latest clip is fairly simplistic, it still leaves a mark. The group just teamed with director Nathan Cox (Linkin Park, Chevelle, System Of A Down) to shoot a performance video with a twist.

Guitarist Jeremy Popoff said of the "Looks Like They Were Right" video, "It's the first time we've done a video that's strictly band performance - no concept, no hot actresses, anything like that.

But there's sort of an homage to some of our influences in the video.

Different elements of the video change where by the end you kind of get an idea as to the type of stuff we were into growing up." Popoff told us the nods come in the form of the different instruments the boys are seen playing throughout the video, honoring some of the acts that preceded them. Drummer Allen Shellenberger was impressed with the outcome, calling the clip his favorite to date. "Looks Like They Were Right" is the first single from Lit's forthcoming self-titled release, due June 22nd. The video should arrive shortly.
