KONGOS go platinum with 'Come With Me Now'
By Markos Papadatos Aug 31, 2014 in Music
KONGOS have a major musical milestone to be proud of. Their breakthrough single "Come With Me Now" has been certified platinum.

It was quite the commercial success, spending five weeks at the top of the alternative radio charts, and they achieved the quickest climb to No. 1 on those charts, by any band in history. From an international standpoint, "Come With Me Now" hit No. 1 at modern rock radio, and it has been certified platinum in Canada, while also reaching No. 1 on the Colombian rock charts. It has been placed on such high-profile television placements as American Idol, FX, CNN, NBC Sports, ESPN, NFL, WWE, among others.

The quartet of brothers have now sold over 1 million digital units of "Come With Me Now," which had garnered rave reviews from Digital Journal. They are the sons of British singer-songwriter John Kongos.

"Come With Me Now" is a track from their debut studio album Lunatic, that was released on Epic Records, this past February. It was written by Johnny Kongos, who is known for his distinct accordion playing.
