Trevor Hall at Jerky's
Jerky's

Trevor Hall tells interviewers that the reggae riddims he loves are easy grooves to "paint over." The young singer has used his brushes on such beats for a few years now. Bringing a post-Jack Johnson angle (youth spent surfing, Marley addiction) to the table, Hall's comparatively rougher voice gives his music a bit more meat. There's positivity, career-wise, too. Last summer's "Unity" remix featured some help from Matisyahu; this summer Hall will spend some time opening for Jimmy Cliff. He has many rivers to cross yet, but the buzz is building.
