The trek is in support of the groups latest CD release Godsmack IV which recently debuted at the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. Breaking Benjamin and HourCast are scheduled to open on all dates. The six week run wiill begin in Connecticut on October 19 and will end in early December. In addition, Godsmack has teamed with I Love All Access to offer special VIP ticketing packages including up-close seating, pre-show party, photo ops with the band and exclusive Godsmack gifts. Godsmack have been delivering their mystifying high-impact rock show to enthused fans across the U.S. & Canada all Summer. “Our fans should expect the biggest Godsmack spectacle yet, explains singer Sully Erna. With Godsmack IV quickly approaching platinum status the band has delivered their second #1 album debut of their career. The chart-topping debut came on the heels of the band’s soaring first single, “Speak.” “Speak” locked down the #1 spot for 12 straight weeks making it their fourth #1 at Active Rock radio. Godsmack is the only rock band to have scored 13 Top 10 hits in the format. The second single from Godsmack IV and currently in the Top 10 is the bluesy-rocker “Shine Down” Godsmack recently performed the new single on Last Call with Carson Daly & Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

In related news, Godsmack are celebrating their recent Boston Music Award nominations. The band is nominated for 4 awards including the coveted Album & Song of The Year as well as Outstanding Hard Rock Band & Outstanding Male Vocalist. Winners will be announced on September 27 in Boston.
