Girl in a Coma, according to their MySpace, was formed one glorious night when high school best buds Jenn and Phanie heard Phanie's little sister sing a song at the age of 12, and decided this is when their band would start. The following years were spent practicing to make perfect, and now Girl in a Coma are on Joan Jett's Blackheart Records and have songs out. Their vibe is like a sophisticated Hole, with no Courtney Love. A female rock trio with interesting melodies and original tunes, these ladies make it known that men don't rule the rock realm; girls can shred on some instruments, too. Check out "Their Cell" below to hear it for yourself. Just don't fall into a coma.
