Every once and while you step back from all of the complicated things you are doing and just try to get back to the simplicity of things.
With all the Britney Pop-S*** being force feed to us over FM radio,
it’s hard for anyone to find anything new, or good. There are
those of us who wade through the nonsense and look near and far—more
far—to find something fresh, something good. I am talking about
“good” music. Particularly, rock music (rock–a word
I hate using, to general), which too has fallen victim to radio commercialism
Joan Jett loved them enough to sign them to her label.
With their growing fan base, it is pointless to promote them like an unknown, hell they got editors choice on iTunes: but here I am, encouraging you to check them out.
We were fortunate enough to have met them at a secret show in San Antonio – before they break the cusp and make into mega-stardom, which necessarily wouldn’t be a bad thing. After all, they are good and have established themselves in the underground music scene without any known FM radio play or some lame 30sec spots on MTV between some redundant reality TV show.
