Return to Fair To Midland

Fair To Midland - 'Drawn and Quartered' EP Review

March 21, 2007 - I must admit that I had never heard of Fair to Midland but upon first listen to their new EP “The Drawn and Quartered” I was hooked from the get go to say the least. Their music is quite different than anything out right now. Catchy & very well orchestrated they seem a perfect choice for Serj Tankian’s diverse label Serjical Strike.

The tracks "Orphan Anthem '86", "Seafarer's Knot - Live" & "Abigail - Live" & are very atmospheric & big sounding in structure while “Kyla Cries Cologne" is straight to the point, in your face rock but quite different than other stuff out now.

Founded in 1998 in Sulphur Springs, Texas FTM is a jewel that we should be very happy that was discovered. With well crafted, diverse & catchy songs I can’t wait to see what genius they will put together on their full length CD scheduled for release on June 12, 2007.

Fair To Midland is:
