Capital Cities with Night Terrors Of 1927 The trumpet-blown synth pop ode “Safe and Sound” became Capital Cities’ breakout hit last year when it topped Billboard’s Alternative Songs charts and transformed the LA duo from virtual unknowns into platinum sellers warming the stage for Katy Perry this past summer. Capital Cities is still touring behind the success of 2013 debut In A Tidal Wave Of Mystery (fourth and latest single “One Minute More” is an up-tempo uplifting dance ode), and hit town to headline with support from Night Terrors of 1927, another synth-driven duo from Los Angeles made up of former Rilo Kiley guitarist Blake Sennett and Jarrod Gorbel, ex-frontman for Brooklyn outfit the Honorary Title.
