CATOOSA - Multiplatinum-selling rock band Barenaked Ladies will perform May 4 at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa, 770 W Cherokee Street.

Tickets start at $35 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Barenaked Ladies  -  the long-standing partnership of Ed Robertson (guitar, vocals), Jim Creeggan (bass, vocals), Kevin Hearn (keyboard, guitar, vocals) and Tyler Stewart (drums, vocals) - has been wowing audiences for nearly three decades with its energy, finesse and musical celebration on stage. In 28 years, the Canadian band has produced 14 studio albums that have collectively sold more than 14 million copies, won eight Juno Awards, earned multiple Grammy nominations, scored a U.S. chart-topping single (“One Week”) and created the theme song to one of TV’s most popular shows, "The Big Bang Theory."

The band’s latest album, "BNL Rocks Red Rocks," was recorded live at the fabled Morrison, Colo., amphitheater, and the Ladies announced this week a special collaboration with the "Kings of A Cappella" titled "Ladies And Gentlemen: Barenaked Ladies And The Persuasions," to be released April 14.

Produced by Gavin Brown, the upcoming album features 14 tracks that reimagine the Ladies' award-winning catalog. The band recorded the album live with The Persuasions last fall at Noble Street Studios in Toronto, according to a news release.

"Ladies And Gentlemen: Barenaked Ladies And The Persuasions" will be available to pre-order Friday on iTunes. The album and bundles featuring exclusive merchandise of Barenaked Ladies and The Persuasions will be available worldwide through PledgeMusic. Each pre-order includes four instant-gratification downloads of "The Old Apartment," "Odds Are," "Keepin' It Real," and "Don't Shuffle Me Back."
